Eggs for vegan baking:
1 egg = 1 tablespoon (15 g) ground
flaxseed + 3 tablespoons (45 ml)
water. Mix together until creamy.
Out of buttermilk?
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk = 1 cup (240 ml) dairy, or non-dairy milk + 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice, or white vinegar. Let stand for 10 minutes.
No powdered sugar for dusting?
1 cup (200 g) powdered sugar = 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar + 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Grind in a blender or coffee grinder.
